Who owns whom, across borders

AssetCensus shows 184,170 companies in 207 countries that report a parent or subsidiary to GLEIF, the body that runs the global Legal Entity Identifier system. 15,067 groups have two or more subsidiaries; 6,631 of them span more than one country.

Each page adds checks that the raw LEI record does not show: lapsed LEIs, parent links resting on old accounts, and contradictions inside a group.
